ABSTRACT
Bayu Yahya Muhaimmi (2025), “This study is motivated by the importance of
improving services and facilities in supporting ticket purchasing decisions for
consumers of transportation services, especially PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)
at Prabumulih Station. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how
much influence the service variables and facilities have on ticket purchasing
decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a
quantitative approach with data collection techniques through a closed
questionnaire distributed to 99 respondents, who are train passengers. The data
analysis technique uses multiple linear regression supported by validity, reliability,
classical assumption tests, t tests, F tests, and the coefficient of determination (R2).
The results showed that services (X1) and facilities (X2) had a positive and
significant effect partially or simultaneously on ticket purchasing decisions (Y).
Services and facilities are proven to increase consumer buying interest. The
coefficient of determination of 0.578 indicates that 57.8% of purchasing decisions
can be explained by these two variables. This study provides recommendations for
PT KAI to continue to improve the quality of services and facilities to attract more
consumers”.
